SUVPick welcomes relevant product information from manufacturers, retailers, distributors, and authorized representatives. Submissions help us learn about vehicles, accessories, and services that may interest our readers. Sending information or offering a sample does not guarantee coverage, a review, or a recommendation.
This policy explains how to propose a product, what information to include, and how we handle samples, vehicle loans, disclosures, and returns. It also sets clear boundaries between independent editorial consideration and paid promotional arrangements on suvpick.com.
1. Products Relevant to SUVPick
We consider submissions connected to SUV buying, driving, maintenance, and ownership. Relevant subjects may include production vehicles, tires, cargo equipment, charging accessories, vehicle care products, and tools intended for appropriate consumer use.
Relevance alone does not establish suitability for coverage. We consider reader needs, available information, compatibility, safety considerations, and our ability to assess the product responsibly. A useful pitch should explain the specific problem the product addresses.
2. Contact Us Before Shipping
Start through our Contact Us page with a brief description of the product and your proposal. Identify your company, your role, and whether you represent the manufacturer, seller, distributor, or a public relations agency.
Do not ship products, arrange deliveries, or send vehicles without written acceptance and delivery instructions. An address found elsewhere online should not be assumed to be a receiving location. An unanswered message is not approval to send something.
3. What Your Submission Should Include
Provide the brand, exact product name, model number, current price, availability, and official product page. Explain the intended customer, relevant vehicle compatibility, warranty terms, and whether the product is currently available to U.S. buyers.
Identify any accessories, subscriptions, installation work, or additional purchases needed for normal use. If the advertised price excludes required components, say so. We need the complete picture to decide whether the product deserves further consideration.
Please keep the opening message concise. Link to supporting documentation rather than attaching large files without agreement. A short explanation of what makes the product useful is more helpful than repeated promotional claims.
4. Accuracy and Supporting Evidence
Information supplied for editorial consideration must be accurate and appropriately qualified. Claims about safety, durability, fuel savings, charging performance, towing, or load capacity should include relevant evidence and explain important conditions or limitations.
Do not describe internal testing as independent certification or imply that a result applies beyond the tested configuration. Provide the organization, method, date, and scope behind a claimed certification or comparison when those details affect its meaning.
5. Compatibility and Installation
For vehicle accessories, identify supported makes, models, years, trims, and any known exclusions. Explain mounting requirements, dimensions, load limits, and whether installation changes the vehicle or requires professional work.
We may decline products that cannot be assessed with the vehicles, facilities, or expertise available. Acceptance does not promise installation, destructive testing, or a particular test method. Any special evaluation requirements must be discussed before delivery.
6. How We Select Submissions
We consider editorial relevance, reader interest, timing, supporting evidence, and the practical demands of evaluation. Storage, installation, safety, and return arrangements also matter. Some products may be unsuitable even when their general category fits the website.
We are not required to explain every selection decision or respond to every proposal. A declined submission is not necessarily a judgment about product quality. It may simply fall outside our current priorities or available resources.
7. Samples and Ownership
Before accepting a physical item, both parties should establish whether it is a temporary loan, a returnable sample, or an item supplied without an expected return. Ownership must not be left to assumption.
Any conditions should be agreed upon in writing before shipment. These include permitted use, evaluation length, return responsibilities, insurance, and the handling of consumable or installed components. We may decline conditions that interfere with fair editorial assessment.
8. No Guarantee of Coverage
Accepting a sample does not guarantee an article, social post, photograph, rating, backlink, or publication date. We may conclude that the available evidence does not support useful coverage or that the product is unsuitable for the planned article.
Do not send a product on the condition that silence or delivery creates a publishing obligation. If your campaign requires specific promotional deliverables, identify that as a commercial proposal rather than an independent editorial submission.
9. Editorial Independence
Products provided for review must not come with a requirement for positive treatment. SUVPick retains control over its editorial conclusions, comparisons, wording, and recommendations. We may discuss shortcomings, limitations, compatibility problems, or disappointing results.
Providing samples, access, technical support, or advertising payments does not create a right to change an independent verdict. We do not accept arrangements requiring the suppression of legitimate criticism as a condition of receiving or retaining a product.
10. Evaluation and Testing Limits
Any published coverage should accurately describe what we examined and how. An inspection is different from installation, and a brief trial is different from long-term use. We must not imply broader testing than actually occurred.
We do not promise laboratory analysis, certification, crash testing, or verification of every manufacturer claim. Where a conclusion relies on published documentation rather than firsthand work, the article should make that distinction clear.
Evaluation should follow reasonable safety practices and applicable instructions. We may stop using a product if it appears unsafe, defective, incompatible, or unsuitable for the intended task. Stopping an evaluation does not require us to reach a favorable conclusion.
11. Vehicle Loans and Demonstrations
Vehicle proposals should identify the model year, trim, powertrain, equipment, loan period, and relevant availability. Before acceptance, responsibilities for registration, insurance, authorized drivers, mileage, fuel, charging, delivery, and collection must be settled.
Vehicle loans may require a separate written agreement. That agreement should address incidents and permitted use without controlling editorial conclusions. We do not promise towing, off-road driving, or other specialized activities unless expressly agreed and appropriate.
12. Shipping, Returns, and Costs
Shipping arrangements must be approved before dispatch. State who pays delivery, return shipping, duties, taxes, and insurance. Do not send cash-on-delivery packages or assume that SUVPick will reimburse costs that were never agreed upon.
For returnable products, provide the agreed return method and practical instructions. Evaluation may involve opening packaging, assembly, installation, or normal wear. Any condition affecting the required return state must be discussed before acceptance.
If a product is consumed, permanently installed, or damaged during an agreed evaluation, its handling depends on the written arrangement and applicable law. This policy does not automatically waive either party’s legal rights or replace an agreed loan contract.
13. Unsolicited Deliveries
Unapproved shipments can create storage, safety, and ownership problems. Contact us before sending anything, especially batteries, chemicals, pressurized items, oversized equipment, or products requiring controlled handling. Applicable shipping rules remain the sender’s responsibility.
If an unsolicited item arrives, we will assess the circumstances and applicable requirements. We do not promise evaluation or return at our expense. Sending an item without permission does not create an agreed purchase or promotional arrangement.
14. Disclosures and Commercial Relationships
Relevant support connected to coverage should be disclosed. That may include a free product, temporary loan, paid installation, travel, accommodation, or another benefit that readers would reasonably want to know about.
Tell us about commercial conditions at the outset, including referral payments or requested links. Affiliate participation does not guarantee selection. Our Affiliate Disclosure and Advertising and Sponsored Content Policy explain how those relationships should be presented.
15. Sponsored Content and Fees
We do not sell favorable independent reviews. A proposal involving payment for agreed exposure belongs under our advertising process, with appropriate labeling and terms. It should not be disguised as an ordinary product submission.
If you are seeking sponsored coverage, explain the requested deliverables, budget, timing, and approval expectations. Any accepted arrangement must preserve accurate claims and clear disclosures. Sponsorship does not justify fabricated experiences or unsupported product statements.
16. Embargoes and Confidential Material
If information is subject to an embargo, propose the date, time, time zone, and scope before sending restricted material. An embargo requires clear acceptance; adding a notice to an unsolicited email does not establish agreement.
Do not assume that a submission creates confidentiality obligations. Where a separate agreement is appropriate, it must be reviewed before confidential information is shared. We may decline restrictions that prevent meaningful reporting about the product.
17. Images, Documents, and Permissions
Identify who owns submitted photographs, videos, diagrams, and other materials. Explain the permission offered and any credit requirements. Providing a file does not establish that your company owns every right attached to it.
Materials must accurately represent the product under consideration. Label renderings, prototypes, simulated screens, and generated visuals clearly. We may request alternatives where an image could mislead readers about availability, included equipment, or actual performance.
18. Publication and Follow-Up
We may contact you to clarify specifications or discuss an apparent problem. A factual check is not an invitation to approve editorial opinions. Publication timing remains an editorial decision unless a separate commercial agreement states otherwise.
After publication, report errors with the relevant passage and supporting evidence. Corrections follow our Corrections & Fact-Checking Policy. We may also revise coverage after recalls, product changes, or new findings that materially affect readers.
19. Reusing SUVPick Coverage
Publication does not automatically authorize use of our photographs, logo, full articles, or review language in advertising. Request permission and describe the intended use. Any approved excerpt must preserve context and avoid implying a broader endorsement.
20. Submitting Your Proposal
Use our Contact Us page to introduce the product and identify your authority to represent it. State the proposed arrangement clearly. Please wait for written acceptance before shipping, booking delivery, or treating the proposal as agreed.
